there's peas in my fudge

I remember there being times when i wanted to give up on Graphic Design. The combination of my inner perfectionist and lack of direction really drove me crazy. But now Im so glad I pressed on and endured countless hours of instruction and exams to end up with a tremendous job. Im hired on as a full time graphic designer!!!! This week i've taken over the other graphic designer at little rock while she is gone on holidays. I've really surprised myself. Normally an assignment that takes me 2 weeks to prepare takes me 2 hours. I've designed countless posters, brochures, cd's, and tradeshow booths, and its only been a week. My boss's have been so impressed with my work, minus a stupid typo error on my first job.....good thing it was a donation.....idiot!!! haha. They had a good laugh. My life is a joke sometimes. He is also getting new MAC COMPUTERS for us designers to work on. MAC COMPUTERS........MAC COMPUTERS!! i like those.
anyways, I just want to thank all of you who have encouraged me, whether it was by praise or criticism, I take them both in stride.
And now im craving some deer sausage that Rodd Laing made one time. Man, I'd be so screwed if I ever fully made the connection between adorable Bambi and delicious venison. Hey, Subconscious, keep up the good work.

i like goofy shannon!

congrats on the job success! That's awesome that all your hard work is paying off. They always say it'll pay off in the end but during all the exams and crap its hard to keep that in mind.

Richelle and I are going to come up to Calgary for the day on the 24th (i think). Just wanna come hang out with you and ash! And isn't your birthday on the 26th???? Hmmmm. Perhaps some birthday celebrations are in order.

ahh all those times detesting against Luda...
though you make it sound like it was all torture heh. apart from luda i doubt it was :P

its actually weird, i remembered color correcting from luda. and i just recently had to do some... scary i remember something form her.

if you talked to kyle at all, he landed a sweet $45,000 a year job in kelowna as head graphic/advertising designer for a company called bridges. who do international work.

get me a job as designer too! :| im doing prepress stuff mainly and even then hardly any of it. Im generally sitting infront of a printer/docutech/plotter collating crap... not really what i expected heh. I end up standing for like 7 hours.. lame. get me a job at little rock! :P i've found out westcan hires grad's to "use them" for their cheap labor..... seriously... even patricia agrees

oh right 22 on the 26th huh? i got a friend turning 22 on the 22nd.. we might throw a party but its still a might..
