that wasnt real hail.. it was like slush falling down heh. me and heather were running around in it. Didnt hurt as much as we thought it would. Both got soaked pretty well though.
so hey are you going warped tour? heather's going. I'm going too and like haley and everyone 'i know'.
heathers got other job 'prospects' lined up. even asked me to help her with designing and stuff and helping her get better. and after your bosses like speed-interviewed me and asked me 100 questions about my place... i figure their too conniving to work for heh. especially when i could soon be working for at least 20-40 an hour starting wage.
noel, they are anything but conniving. You weren't something they "planned" on interviewing. I went throught a professional interview with them because they were actually expecting someone. and uh.....good luck finding a job starting you at $40 an hour......
oh, and kristy ya, ive gotten the mary kate look-a-like speal before. Although not as much as Alexis Bledel. Just start telling people your related to a celebrity :)
I remember posting a long time ago about how i should be Alexis Bledel's stunt double (if she ever were to need one).
Sweet, thats nice down there :) I'm in Kits at the moment, a block off 4th Ave.
Actually, my bf's apartment is on Beach and Bute (closer to Burrard) who knows, I may have seen you around! Or are you closer to Denman?
And it looks like we know some of the same Calgary people (via others).. small world. Well, if you're out this way sometime let me know - some coffee or drinks may be in order! :)
but seriously when someones like "what machines do you have" "whats the most costly job" "whats the most common job" "whats your biggest clients" "whens the most busiest day" "what kind of bindery is there" "what kind of oil schematics do you do" (like I should know the difference if any)
wouldnt you think something? They are nice people i know wasnt saying other wise heh. and like i said "speed interview"
oh ya and most graphic artists (artist not designer) start at 20-30 an hour. This is the average. There are few that do get 40 starting. as a few artists and designers around town i've talked to have already said this. (remember that lady we met who gets paid $75 an hour) City of Calgary itself pays $20 for preflighting and photocopying, if you know the right people.
Sounds fantastic to me, Kristy. I'm actually up in the Jervis St./Burnaby St. area, close to Rogers Video. However, as I am currently in love with the tall n' skinny guy that works at Westbeach, I get over to Kits more often now. I would love to meet you for coffees!
P.S. No fretting over the picture - the frown is actually positively adorable!
Tall, skinny guy at Westbeach?! whats his name? .. I know a tall, skinny guy that skates at WB (sponsored by Emerica) though he might work there now too.. is his name Mike? wow, now that would be a small world.
Anyways.. Coffee sounds great! I don't know too many girls out here, so that would be sweet :)
I'll let you know if I'm downtown, but if you're out this way, you can email k.sorgard@hotmail.com, or call me at 604-732-7322.
You know a tall, skinny guy that maybe works at Westbeach? I don't know if I should be embarrassed or secretly excited. I have no idea who he is...I just noticed him a couple weeks ago when I was there grabbing a pair of shorts. Then last week I was caught off guard when I spotted him hittin' the decks at Otis Records on Davie Street.
Anyways, I added you to my MSN...hopefully we can connect sometime. I could always use more girlfriends too. Have a good one :)
